I spent the weekend doing nothing much but reading books in the sun, curled up with my stray cats. It was so relaxing.
Michael thinks it's gross that I hug those cats...but they're so cuddly and they look clean...and they really de-stress me. They're really not so much 'stray', um, more like 'neighbourhood' cats, who belong to everyone.
Oh, and apparently some people in NZ have received our wedding invitations already, that's great!
And one of Michael's close family friends has offered to sing something at our ceremony! Apparently she has a wonderful voice. I'll just trust him on that one! haha. But that's great because I didn't want to have to twist someone's arm to fill in that "space for a song/poem/short speech" in the ceremony. As we are not having a Christian ceremony, there won't be the obligatory Hymns to be sung by the guests, so I was wondering what we would do to fill a little time instead. Now that's sorted!
Called my Mum to say "Happy Mother's Day" appparently my brother is making dinner for her... It'll be Omelettes for dinner, as it's the only thing he knows how to cook! How sweet of him!

Wow sounds like a relaxing weekend sis! did u check out my new pics!

Hannah and Mark got your wedding invites, they were delighted! Simon's parents also got your invites, I don't think both of them will come as it's calving season so either just one of them will come.
Good to hear you have a singer, just one bridzilla tip, really really and I cannot stress enuf! make sure she can sing ok cos I've been to too many weddings with terrible singers this year and it's painful and it's all people remember! (well the musical people)
As long as she sings in tune, voice doesn't wobble and doesn't sing operatic or theatrical then you will be fine.
Anyway we are starting to pack this week, it's going well. We have booked a movers! Damn they are expensive! will cost us $2500 to move our stuff to Gold coast! Did you know Gold coast is 2 words! I always spelt it as Goldcoast! Shocking eh
missin u and can't wait to see you soon
